New CD Project well underway !!
Sorry for the lack of updates lately but we have been very busy in the Studio. We started the project on Feb.4th and finished tracking on the 14th. We have been working at Mountain Fever Studio in Willis,VA. Mark Hodges has been great to work with and the CD is sounding great. It is almost all new material with a couple of old favorites thrown in. Brandon has several of his original songs on the project and we have been helped by other great writers including Larry Cordle, Dee Gaskin, and Billy Yeates. Mixing is going on now and we hope to be talking to record companies soon.
Special thank’s to Karen Hodges for the great meals she cooked while were there.

Mike Hartgrove is Back !!
We are proud to announce that Mike Hartgrove, former fiddler for LRB, will rejoin the band starting in January, 2008. After a stint with Doyle Lawson and Quicksilver and teaching fiddle, Mike will be back on stage with us soon. He is one of the true “PROS” of this business and we are going to enjoy having his great fiddle work back in the band.
Matt Leadbetter, the only full time Dobro player for LRB, has left the band to be with his new son Houston and to work closer to home. Matt did a great job with the band and we wish him well.
We look forward to seeing all you great bluegrass fans in your area in 2008. We are planning the release of a new project sometime in the Spring of 2008.
Merry Christmas !!

LRB live video from Canada
The next few posts include live video clips from a show we did this past March in Moncton, NB - up in Canada. They were shot by my banjo buddy, Jeff McRae. The show was held at the Moncton High School, promoted by the great Marty “B,” and Jeff shot these from the audience.
Jeff put them up on YouTube, and we thank him for agreeing to let us post them here as well.
