It has been an interesting couple of years for the Lonesome River Band, who will appear at the Mountaineer Opry House in Milton on Saturday, Nov. 9.

The group celebrated its 30th anniversary recently by releasing a series of three albums called “Chronology,” featuring re-recordings of the best songs from all periods of the Lonesome River Band’s existence. The Lonesome River Band also appeared on the Grand Ole Opry and “The Late Show with David Letterman” not long ago, and was named the host band for the yearly eastern Kentucky bluegrass festival called Rudyfest.
